We are Epoch IV

It is our mission to contribute to a positive development of AI

AI through the eye of Epoch

This presentation explores how Epoch has created a space for students to grow in the field of AI, detailing the workings of AI, the development of our competition-winning model, and the impact we've achieved this year in the healthcare sector and with the Dutch government.

Epoch finished their challenge on classifying harmful brain activity

What happens inside the mind of someone in a coma, or someone who suffers from a seizure? This is what neurologists analyze using electroencephalography (EEG). In this competition the aim is to develop AI that can help neurologists analysing EEG data.

Together with the Dutch government we improved the Woo requests

During this project, led by PhD candidate Max Muller and organised by I-Partnership of  the Dutch Government and the National Archive, Team Epoch developed an AI that organises archived documents in a coherent time framework.

We became #1 in the kelp competition, defeating 670 participants

Students from the TU Delft Artificial Intelligence Dream Team Epoch achieve 1st place in an international AI competition with the goal of developing a model that assists researchers in monitoring kelp forests.
